The sightseeing tour covers all the most famous and striking sights of the island of Corfu.
The journey begins with a visit to the Achilleion Palace, which once belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empress Elizabeth (sad Sisi) or as it was also called the “Bavarian rose”. One of the most beautiful places in Corfu is Paleokastritsa. The resort is located on the western side of the island. This is a picturesque promontory with high cliffs, where the mixing of the Ionian and Adriatic seas begins. Paleokastritsa was the last refuge of Odysseus during his long wanderings, where he was found by the daughter of King Alkinoy, the beautiful Nausicaa.
We will visit the Zoodohu Pigis Monastery. Climbing up to the Bella Vista observation deck, you will see all the beauty of Paleokastritsa.
Further along the course, the village of Makrades is located at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level. It is a picturesque village with a small population that produces natural cosmetics and food.
